| BID Programs > Hospitality, Safety and Maintenance > Safety Alliance & Property Manager Council Meetings Downtown DC Safety Alliance/Property Manager CouncilMembers of the safety community, including police department officials, private security providers and other safety professionals, meet each month with area property management to discuss present and future strategies for addressing crime and crime prevention in the Downtown area. Issues such as theft from auto, office theft, personal safety and dealing with nuisance crime are addressed. Additionally, this monthly meeting provides the forum for our property managers to discuss many of the issues and problems facing the BID's property managers, tenants, and customers. Issues relating to crime, homelessness, vending, public services, upcoming events, and BID activities are typical topics for the monthly agenda.
