MEDIA ADVISORY: DowntownDC BID Kicks Off Workout Wednesdays June 18 in Franklin Park

WHAT:    
The DowntownDC BID kicks off their second annual Workout Wednesdays series in Franklin Park June 18 with Zumba and free giveaways. Each week at 5:30 p.m. from June 18-Sept. 10, Crunch Fitness will provide a free workout in Franklin Park as part of the BID’s effort to revitalize the park with dynamic programming as it undergoes a significant renovation with support from the BID and other partners. 
Representatives from the DowntownDC BID and sponsors Crunch Fitness, Freshii and Sports Zone Elite will be available for interviews and/or sound bites June 18. Participants and supporters will be using #workoutwednesdays to share their experiences on social media this season.
