There’s still time for local restaurants, retailers, and cultural and entertainment venues to offer the city’s interns a break on goods and services this summer—and get more customers through the door. Interested? Just fill out a form to participate in the fourth annual InternsROCK! program, a citywide Intern Appreciation Week initiative sponsored by The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars (TWC). The promotion runs Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 16.

Several Downtown businesses have taken the plunge and signed on the dotted line. They include the Newseum (555 Pennsylvania Avenue), Café Mozart (1331 H Street), Madame Tussauds (1025 F Street), Bike and Roll Washington DC (1100 Pennsylvania Avenue), Quiznos (various locations), the National Museum of Crime and Punishment (575 7th Street) and many others. Capital Bikeshare and the DC Circulator are also in on the action.

Last year, 2,500 students and 60 local businesses participated. The program is open to all interns in the metropolitan Washington area. For more information, including how to pre-register, contact Kaitlin Cangro at 703-299-3404, or click here.
