It’s time, once again, for fine dining on a budget. Washington, DC Restaurant Week will return on Monday, August 15 and offer a week of delectable goodies through Sunday, August 21. More than 50 Downtown restaurants will participate.

The one-week food extravaganza is an opportunity to chow down at some of the area’s most notable and fine new restaurants at an affordable price. During Restaurant Week, participating establishments will serve three-course prix fixe lunch ($20.11) or dinner ($35.11), or both, excluding tax, gratuity, and beverages.

A few Downtown newcomers joining in the summer food affair: Sax Restaurant & Lounge (734 11th Street), Hill Country (410 7th Street), and 901 Restaurant and Bar (901 9th Street).

Destination DC and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) sponsor this much-anticipated, bi-annual event, normally held in January and August.
