Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHOP) will return on Friday, May 7th as a weekly harvest festival from 11:00 am until 3 pm, replete with live music and celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, and has been extended through November 19. The US General Services Administration (GSA) and the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue) are behind this latest effort, which debuted for two days last fall and showcases healthy eating and local food producers, farmers and chefs.
