Whether you have exquisite or nascent taste buds, you’re invited to eat and drink up at the 14th Annual Washington, DC International Wine & Food Festival on Tuesday, February 5 through Saturday, February 9 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue).

Extended by an extra day this year, this annual Festival offers participants the chance to learn, taste, dine and indulge in wine, foods and spirits from all over the world. Besides the seminars, food pairings, dinners, and signature events—such as the 2nd Annual Sommelier Showdown—held each day, there will be a Tasting Room open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., free to the public. The latter offers the opportunity to mingle with wine makers, educators and other wine aficionados and purchase tastes or glasses of different wines, or both.

Can’t make the festival? An auction to benefit Cohn’s Kitchen, the D.C.-based non-profit organization that educates, empowers and develops underserved and underprivileged youth and young adults to become future restaurateurs and chefs, will begin online and in person on Friday, February 1 and end on Sunday, February 10. The auction items will include gift certificates to local restaurants, signed bottles of wine, and trips to popular wineries.

Sorry, no one under 21 will be admitted to the festival, presented by The Washington Post. Click here for more information about ticket prices, events and the auction.
