Can’t get enough of Pret A Manger (1155 F Street)? Well, more locations of the United Kingdom-based salad and sandwich shop are on the way. The restaurant, which prides itself on providing fresh fare with natural ingredients and makes its salads and sandwiches in-house and sells them the same day, plans to set up shop at 1432 K Street, a prime retail corner on 15th and K Streets, in January. The space, once occupied by High Noon Cafe, has been vacant for about a year. The eatery will occupy 3,100 square feet (SF) on two levels in a building with 34,000 SF and tenants such as DC Action for Children; New Leaders, which trains school leaders; and Pressler & Senftle, PC, a civil litigation law firm. Pret A Manger plans to offer outdoor seating at a later date. Meanwhile, another location will open soon at Union Station, a major transportation hub for Downtown.
