Downtown’s getting another clothing retailer. Hint: it has a catchy jingle, sought after prices, and lets you inspire your “inner maximista.” That’s right, if you guessed T.J. Maxx. The department store that sells brand name and designer fashions at a discount plans to open in the humungous Homer Building (601 13th Street) next spring. The Maxx will assume space once occupied by RitzCamera and face F Street, DC’s oldest retail corridor. It will join recent clothing newcomers Anthropologie (950 F Street), Dress Barn (1300 F Street) and Andrew’s Ties (1155 F Street). Shopping anyone?
