Have a project that “greens” D.C.? The D.C. Water and Sewer Authority wants to hear from you. Its Green Infrastructure Challenge is open to organizations wishing to submit designs for novel projects that use green practices to absorb rain water before it enters the sewer or storm drains. Submit your design proposal for green infrastructure—such as green roofs and rain gardens—on public, private, government or institutional properties by Tuesday, October 1.
