Double Treat

Release Date: Friday, August 15th 2008

A few of Downtown's finest restaurants have extended Washington DC Restaurant Week beyond August 17, offering diners the chance to get their chow on and sample more culinary delights at bargain prices. Café Atlantico, 701 Restaurant, Jaleo, McCormick & Schmick's, Mio, PS7's, Oyamel, Rasika, Zaytinya and Zengo have all extended the popular food fest by another week, until the end of the month or somewhere in between (call ahead to determine specific date extensions). Participating restaurants will continue to serve a three -course prix fixe lunch ($20.08) and/or dinner ($35.08), excluding tax and gratuity. Restaurant Week, sponsored by Destination DC and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, is held twice a year, normally in January and August.
