A Dirty Habit worth keeping!

October 5, 2017

We found a habit worth keeping. The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) took a trip to Dirty Habit (555 8th Street), a luxe venue at the Hotel Monaco, for the second installment of the BID’s latest ChowtownDC restaurant video series (#chowtowndc).

Dirty Habit is a sleek and contemporary restaurant with unique decor and distinctive spaces. The restaurant has three bars, two dining rooms, a glass atrium, a private chef’s table and an expansive outdoor patio.

During the BID’s visit, we sampled handmade gnocci, kombu cured ora, tuna poke, grilled octopus, halibut and Asian-inspired chicken wings.

Watch the video to find out which dish did not disappoint.

Last month, the BID kicked off the third season of ChowtownDC at Acadiana [watch it here]. The series offers viewers an inside look at DowntownDC’s best eats.

Stay tuned for the final feature on Farmers & Distillers that will round out this season.

DowntownDC is a dining destination. From world-class restaurants and fine dining, to the hottest street food and takeout, DowntownDC offers a variety of cuisines at every price point.
