Mark your calendars for the 2015 Building Energy Summit – “Shaping the Future of Intelligent Buildings” on March 25th, 2015 at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in downtown DC. This year’s Summit once again is guided by an all-star advisory council representing 32 public and private sector organizations that are committed to designing and operating “smart” energy efficient buildings. The Summit is produced by CoR Adviosors in partnership with the DowntownDC Business Improvement District and takes place at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center, located in the DowntownDC ecoDistrict , home to national and international leaders in commercial building energy performance.

Sure to be a Summit highlight this year will be Nils Kok, founder of Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).  Learn about  the GRESB mission to provide investment-grade assessments and data on the sustainability performance of property portfolios globally.  Hear how their recent merger with the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) will enhance GRESB’s core product and service offerings.  While the Summit features national and international best practices, you will also learn about the latest programs and issues that affect you locally from the DC Sustainable Energy Utility, the Maryland Energy Administration and the DowntownDC BID.
