The James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour descends on DC and Downtown at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 16, at The Source (575 Pennsylvania Avenue), and guess what? Reservations are all booked.  No surprise there, but adding your name to the waiting list for the star-studded, five-course meal might increase your chance of sampling the exquisite fare. It’s worth a try.

Participating in the DC tour, which will begin with a cocktail reception, are such Downtown notables as Scott Drewno with The Source; Adam Bernbach and Haidar Karoum with Proof (775 G Street); and Mike Isabella with Graffiato (707 6th Street).

DC is one of eighteen cities on this year’s tour, the proceeds of which benefit the James Beard Foundation, dedicated to exploring the way food enriches our lives and administering the prestigious James Beard Foundation Awards, also dubbed “the Oscars of the food world.”
