Movie lovers, mark your calendars. DC Shorts, the annual short films festival paying homage to filmmakers both near and far, kicks off Thursday, September 8 and runs through Sunday, September 18 at E Street Cinema (555 11th Street), the US Navy Memorial (701 Pennsylvania Avenue) and elsewhere.
Indulge in 145 films from 23 countries, and mingle and mix with filmmakers from around the globe. Reruns of all programs will occur September 11-18, and the week will culminate with the popular “Best of DC Shorts” screenings on September 17 and 18, where jury award winners and audience favorites will be shown.
