W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist, the 124-year-old fine tobacco shop, has moved around the corner to 699 15th Street from 640 14th Street. The “new and improved” establishment is equipped with additional seating, more shelf space and a walk-in humidor “loaded to the rafters.” As DC’s oldest full service tobacconist—and the country’s fourth oldest—W. Curtis Draper offers premium cigars, pipes, pipe tobacco, snus (Swedish snuff) and smoking accessories (lighters, ashtrays, cutter, punchers, etc.).
