Powerful Fun

Games, entertainment, food and fun, oh my! Don’t miss the Kid Power carnival on Saturday, June 20, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, outside Calvary Baptist Church (755 8th Street). 
 
Kid Power is a non-profit youth organization that provides academic, artistic and service-learning opportunities for children in underserved DC neighborhoods. In conjunction with Engine Company No. 2 (500 F Street), Kid Power will host its first family and youth-oriented carnival to support its programs and material purchases for the engine company. Expect the fun to continue. Kid Power plans to have an annual community event to raise much-needed funds for its programs.
