Mad about your beer? Maddy’s Bar & Grille recently signed a lease to occupy space in Franklin Square North, a 270,000-square-foot, Class A office building located at 1100 13th Street and occupied to capacity. Maddy’s offers more than 50 draft beers and appetizers, soups and salads, and will join Au Bon Pain and office tenants such as the Associated Press news agency; the National Committee for Quality Assurance, a non-profit organization committed to improving health care quality; and Banner & Witcoff Ltd., the law firm. The restaurant also has a location in DuPont Circle and is said to exude “a welcoming, neighborhood bar feeling.” That’s comforting news for those looking to unwind after work and on weekends.
