Attention all Ford’s Theatre (511 10th Street) aficionados and potential guests. Ford’s Theatre and Museum will be closed from Tuesday, June 1 to Monday, June 7. Neighboring Petersen House (516 10th Street), also part of the Ford’s Theatre National Historic Site and the place where President Lincoln died, will be shuttered on Sunday, June 6. What’s up? Preparations for the Ford’s Theatre Society’s annual gala. Sorry, the affair is by invitation only.
