A heavenly night of food, drink and music awaits connoisseurs and novices at the Toast of the Town wine and restaurant tasting event on Friday, June 11, at the National Building Museum (401 F Street).
 
Indulge in a spectacular evening of wines, spirits and live music—the David Bach Quartet will offer cool jazz for a hot night—paired with culinary creations from top area restaurants. The pickings aren’t slim. You can taste more than 500 world-class wines, spirits and signature dishes, including those from Downtown’s Old Ebbitt Grill (675 15th Street), PS 7’s (777 Eye Street), SEI (444 7th Street), The Fourth Estate (529 14th Street), Ruth’s Chris Steak House (724 9th Street) and Clyde’s of Gallery Place (707 7th Street).
 
The fee for the Grand Tasting, which takes place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, is $89 per person. It’s $169 per person for the VIP Tasting, which occurs from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, although VIP patrons can participate in the Grand Tasting until closing.
