Tuesday Concert Series fans, rejoice. The Church of the Epiphany (1317 G Street) reopened its sanctuary this month following major renovations that began last spring. The 169-year-old Episcopal Church, noted for its inclusive community and popular classical music series, now has a beautiful labyrinth laid in the floor of its enlarged pulpit; improved lighting; state-of-the-art amplification; and a new columbarium. The Parish House, which hosts alcohol step programs, art therapy, Muslim worship services and a youth ministry, also will receive a new look this year, with significantly expanded restroom facilities, a mission center or hostel, and an elevator to make all levels handicap accessible. Total renovation costs total $3.4 million. To help fund the building renovations, contributions made to the church's Capital Campaign through December 31 will be matched dollar for dollar, thanks to another challenge grant, this one for $25,000.
