Eat, Drink and Be Merry

Wine connoisseurs, discriminating foodies and culinary neophytes, get your taste buds set for the ultimate wine and cuisine celebration. The Washington DC International Wine & Food Festival takes place at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue) on Thursday, February 10, and runs through Sunday, February 13. There’s a smorgasbord of treats, so bring your appetite!

This four-day event is sure to please the palate. Savor more than 600 different wines from 150 international wineries. Enjoy a chef demonstration stage where premier chefs and mixologists will demonstrate their expertise by pairing wine with delectable cuisine. Mix and mingle with top winemakers and get the lowdown on regional cuisines from local chefs in a restricted area near the main floor.

The kick-off reception will feature custom cocktail creations by DC’s top five mixologists and yummy hors d'oeuvres from PS 7's(777 Eye Street) chef Peter Smith. In addition, you can indulge in special Winemaker Dinners at several restaurants, including Downtown’s Acadiana (901 New York Avenue), Aria Pizzeria & Bar (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue), Ceiba (701 14th Street), Cure Bar & Bistro (1000 H Street), DC Coast (1401 K Street) and TenPenh (1001 Pennsylvania Avenue), throughout the weekend.
