Diners’ Delight

Release Date: Thursday, February 5th 2009

Presidential Inauguration festivities pushed back by a month this winter’s much-anticipated food fest, but Washington DC Restaurant Week returns Monday, February 16 through Sunday, February 22.

During this semi-annual gourmet event, diners will have a chance to indulge their appetite at many first-rate Downtown restaurants. Participating restaurants will offer a 3-course lunch for $20.09 and dinner for $35.09, excluding tax and gratuity. The special, one-week dining experience is a great time to try newly opened hotspots, award-winning picks or old neighborhood favorites.

Destination DC and the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington sponsor the popular culinary event, normally held in January and August.
