Forget about Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (901 G Street) being shuttered on Sundays because of fiscal year 2012 budgetary concerns. In the eleventh hour, the city announced that funding will be available to keep the library open seven days a week, as it has continuously operated since 1972, the year it opened.
