Downtown DC has a new museum. The German-American Heritage Foundation (719 6th Street) has opened the German-American Heritage Museum across from the Verizon Center (601 F Street). The museum has permanent exhibits featuring German immigration and migration across the US, famous German-Americans and smaller, contemporary exhibitions. An auditorium that seats up to 60 people will be used for lectures, multimedia presentations and small conferences. Educational program for students will be available. More information here.
