Caring about the Homeless

Walk, talk, and chew gum at the same time during Fannie Mae’s annual Help the Homeless Walkathon, taking place on Saturday, November 20, beginning at 9:00 am on the National Mall.

Thousands of concerned citizens are expected to participate in this major fundraiser, taking place rain or shine between 4th and 14th Streets. Make a difference in the lives of more than 12,000 individuals and families affected by homelessness, or at risk of being homeless, in the metropolitan Washington area. Turn out to show your support, and bring the family. The pre-registration fee, through November 18, is $25 for adults and $15 for those who are 25 and younger.
