Coming Soon - State of Downtown Event

Release Date: Friday, May 30th 2008

The Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) releases the latest State of Downtown Report on June 12. The report, published annually, highlights the BID area’s growth and economic trends and shows how they relate to the larger DC and regional economies. The goal is simple: provide the best information available on the Downtown economy for BID members, property owners, commercial tenants, developers, investors and policymakers. The report’s data show clearly that Downtown has re-emerged as the cultural and economic heart of the city and the region’s premier urban gathering place.

The 2007 State of Downtown report will be released on Thursday, June 12, during a public forum at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue) from 8:15 to 10:00 am. The event is being held in conjunction with the U.S. General Services Administration, which is celebrating the Reagan Building’s 10th anniversary with a week-long series of events. Invitations have been sent, and we hope to hear from you soon.
