Hours: Daily 10a- 6p

This world-renowned institution came to Downtown DC in 2007, but they have been entertaining people from all over the world for over 200 years. Now you can:

Learn some of the trade secrets used in the creation of wax figures, check your own hand-eye coordination in the Feel Like a Sculptor interactive test, or compare your hands, feet and eyes to lifelike replicas of notable celebrities and world leaders.

Step into a chic nightclub setting and mingle with Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and many more. Take pictures with Will Smith, dance with Jennifer Lopez or sing along with Beyonce.

Travel through history with hands-on exhibits featuring George Washington’s inauguration, Abraham Lincoln’s assassination and the Watergate scandal. Visit a perfect replica of The Oval Office and veto a bill, address the nation or simply put your feet up on the most powerful desk in the country.

Experience history through the eyes and ears of the politicians and icons that lived it. Stand next to Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill and listen in on phone calls as they strategize during World War II. In the Civil Rights exhibit, join Rosa Parks as she is asked to give up her seat on a Montgomery City bus. Learn about Watergate by researching actual press coverage and background information with Bob Woodward at his desk.

Be coached by Evander Holyfield as you box the reactive light beams to gain points and hear the sound effects. Test your short game by helping Tiger Woods line up his next putt for birdie. Finally, meet Katie Couric for an exclusive interview about your experience while friends and family watch you on a nearby TV Monitor.
