The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus returns to the Washington area with its annual elephant parade to Capitol Hill.
The parade will start on Virginia Avenue SE. The route includes Washington Avenue SW, Independence Avenue SW, 3rd Street SW, 3rd Street NW, G Street NW and 6th Street NW. It ends at Verizon Center, where the circus holds its first area shows.
The Washington Nationals Presidents will join this year's circus parade.
