Nominated for two 2010 WAMMIE Awards by the Washington Area Music Association, contemporary jazz violinist Miles Stiebel is one of the most requested performers in the special events industry. As a musician and band leader, Stiebel has provided first class music for Presidential galas and celebrations for foreign dignitaries to some of the country's most prestigious events. As a recording artist, Miles’ progressive musicality and his unique sound have led to his music being played on over 90 jazz radio stations and on the Weather Channel.
The Jazz in the Garden Series is a free concert series featuring an array of artists performing various styles of jazz from swing to progressive to Latin every Friday evening at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden come rain or shine.
