Flashpoint resident organization Solas Nua, the only organization dedicated exclusively to contemporary Irish art in the United States, will present its third Flashpoint Gallery exhibition, Tickling the Ivories. Irish artist Aoife Collins deconstructs and reconstructs low brow cultural paraphernalia such as plastic potted plants and artificial flowers. History, culture and fashion collide to transform the identity of these objects.
