The Capitol Steps began as a small group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the people and places that employed them. They are the only group in America that attempts to be funnier than Congress.
Monitoring events and personalities on Capitol Hill, in the Oval Office, and at other centers of power, they take a humorous look at serious issues and provide laughs for their audiences. Since they began over 20 years ago, Capitol Steps has become a Washington, DC, institution, providing a blend of musical and political comedy.
