Located on the Woodrow Wilson Plaza, The Capital Harvest on the Plaza (CHOP) Farmers Market's mission is to bring quality, locally grown fresh produce and related products from the farms to the consumers’ table as well as providing the tools necessary to implement a healthy lifestyle.

CHOP gives the farmers, producers, crafters and artisans from around the Chesapeake region the opportunity to provide a wide variety of quality fresh produce and related products directly to the consumer at affordable prices. CHOP will also be showcasing local chefs who will demonstrate dishes inspired by the produce available at the Farm Market, along with tasting samples and recipe, on a weekly basis. Live musical entertainment will accommodate this communal experience. CHOP is supported by the GSA.
