Bike to Work Day is a regional event supported by the Washington Area Bicyclist Association and Commuter Connections to encourage area commuters to try bicycling to work as an alternative to solo driving. The DowntownDC BID sponsors the Downtown pit stop, held this year at Woodrow Wilson Plaza.

Help the Washington region become a better place to ride by joining over 10,000 area commuters for a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work.  Meet up at one of 58 regional pit stops to ride into the city with experienced commuter convoys and meet your fellow Downtown cyclists at Woodrow Wilson Plaza.

Bike to Work Day is a FREE event and open to all area commuters.  There will be a raffle, prizes, food, drink and more at all pit stops throughout the region, including free t-shirts for the first 11,000 who register.
